Explanation: Water grows wood. To be tall for Jia yang wood, you need water in the birth chart. Yet there is no water. Although Mao (卯) represents Spring when spring water grows wood is ideal, the fire, earth, and wood elements in the chart absorb most of the water.

Teaching point: Wood is strong (旺) in her birth chart. Wood also represents the amount of hair on your head — therefore she has thick hair.
Root (根) concept: If a birth owner (命主) does not have a root (根), it can signify differences in the characteristics of the actual Jia (甲) yang wood described in Table 4.

Context: For Jia (甲) yang wood, intelligence requires wood (木) and fire (火) to be visible and well balanced (木火通明).

Conclusion: Moderate intelligence and not so witty. The strong fire also informs that the birth chart has potential danger of suicidal or physical and mental health issues or behavioural issues, such as anger management especially after alcohol consumption.

Answer: Health is poor. Why? Because wood day birth owner is weak in the summer (check Table 2) and there is insufficient water to strengthen the wood in this birth chart.
Some Tips for Jia (甲) Yang Wood:
Tip 1: In the ancient book, it is recorded that jia (甲) yang wood likes ding (丁) yin fire (vice versa) — it's called "甲木引丁火". From the above birth chart, it means that the ding (丁) yin fire in year column (年柱) — father location — his father likes, cares and respects the jia (甲) yang wood owner.
Tip 2: He is a useful person especially after 40 years old. Why? Because geng (庚) yang metal appears at the hour column (时柱). Earlier on, we learnt that geng (庚) yang metal axe chops jia (甲) yang wood and makes the birth owner (命主) into a well-behaved person. Additionally, with geng (庚) yang metal in the birth chart, it is easy for jia (甲) yang wood to find a career that he is happy with. Remember, no over-countering too!
PATCH 9 — Page 72: Tips 3–7 for Jia Yang Wood

Tip 3: For jia (甲) yang wood to grow well, he needs sun (bing 丙 yang fire) and the rain (gui 癸 yin water), not ren (壬) yang water. Luckily, the birth owner (命主) has hidden Chinese numeral system of the sun (bing 丙 yang fire) and the rain (gui 癸 yin water) — no ren (壬) yang water.
Tip 4: Jia (甲) yang wood prefers hidden gui (癸) yin water, not ren (壬) yang water because wood touching water will rot! This shows that water is a problematic element in jia (甲) yang wood birth chart because promotion or job seeking is a major problem.
Tip 5: Jia (甲) yang wood with hidden water in the hidden stem can save money better than those with water appearing in the Chinese numeral system (天干) and Chinese animal zodiacs (地支).
Tip 6: If the wood is strong, yet fire is weak in the jia (甲) yang wood birth chart, then it is not easy for the jia (甲) yang wood birth owner (命主) to find a job. Why? Because too much wood can diminish the fire.
Tip 7: Remember that it takes time to grow from a small plant into a huge tree. Therefore, jia (甲) yang wood must be patient when building his career.
